Shorewood Packaging, a business of International Paper, received an Excellence Award for the packaging it produced to introduce Revlon’s Colorist Expert Color and Glaze System. The result of a design collaboration between Revlon and Shorewood, the package was one of 10 awards Shorewood received at the 65th Annual National Paperboard Packaging Competition. The package was printed in six colors using offset lithography on 20-point IP Everest SBS paperboard. It features a special pearlized spot coating, embossing and silver hot foil stamping and UV coating in all but the pearlized areas, all accomplished with just one pass of the press.
